Mirai's Impressive Opening Day Performance
The action-adventure film 'Mirai' has recently made its debut and is garnering a fantastic response from viewers. Teja Sajja leads the cast, returning to the cinema after his successful role in 'HanuMan'. Despite facing stiff competition from several new releases this Friday, 'Mirai' has carved out a niche for itself at the box office.
As reported by Sacnilk, 'Mirai' achieved a remarkable collection of Rs 12 crore on its opening day, according to preliminary estimates. The film has managed to attract a significant audience despite the crowded theatrical landscape this week.
There are hints of a sequel to 'Mirai', as the film concludes with a promise of a follow-up titled 'Mirai: Jaithraya'. Additionally, Rana Daggubati makes an appearance as a villain in a mid-credit scene, suggesting that the 'Baahubali' star will play a key antagonist role in the sequel. His character is depicted as having superpowers, although details remain under wraps to maintain an air of mystery.

The narrative centers around a warrior tasked with safeguarding nine sacred scriptures that possess the power to transform any human into a deity.
In a conversation with OTTplay, Teja Sajja discussed how he landed the role in 'Mirai' following the success of 'HanuMan'. He mentioned, “After 'HanuMan', my director Karthik Ghattamaneni approached me with 'Mirai'. He briefly outlined the story and highlighted the challenges we would encounter during filming. He had numerous concerns and listed them one by one, which I later realized was a test to see if I was committed to putting in the effort and time this project demanded. As soon as he finished, I assured him that 'Mirai' would come to fruition just as he envisioned.”
Alongside Teja Sajja, 'Mirai' features Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran in prominent roles, with Manchu Manoj portraying the film's primary antagonist.
